Sona Grigoryan

Sona Grigoryan is the Director of Plug and Play Armenia, where she leads acceleration and ecosystem-building programs designed to support Armenian startups in becoming more investment-ready, globally connected, and market-driven. In this role, she works closely with founders, mentors, investors, corporations, and public-sector partners, helping build stronger bridges between Armenia’s startup ecosystem and international opportunities. Before joining Plug and Play, Sona served as Head of Operations at CIVITTA Armenia and worked as a business consultant with companies, startups, international organizations, and public-sector stakeholders across Armenia and the wider region. Her experience spans business strategy, financial modeling, program design, market research, organizational development, and ecosystem-level initiatives, giving her a strong understanding of how businesses grow in small and developing markets. Sona brings a practical and founder-focused perspective shaped by years of consulting, regional ecosystem work, and hands-on startup acceleration.
