Hayk Grigoryan

Hayk Grigoryan is a technology executive, full-stack engineer, and product-focused CTO with a Ph.D. in Computer Science. He is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Zoomerang, a mobile-first video creation platform with over 40 million downloads in 196 countries. Hayk leads all technical efforts at Zoomerang, overseeing system architecture, infrastructure design, and engineering operations. With a background in full-stack development and deep experience in DevOps, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and scalable backend systems, he has built and managed robust microservices-based platforms and large-scale data systems. He has worked extensively on graphical video processing using OpenGL, video editing pipelines, and mobile performance optimization. In addition to his work in video tech, Hayk has designed and deployed AI infrastructure to support generative AI and LLM-based systems—covering everything from GPU execution environments to model orchestration and inference pipelines. His technical toolkit spans cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), containerization (Docker), scalable database architecture, and end-to-end product delivery. He is particularly experienced in building MVPs, managing high-growth engineering teams, and navigating the technical demands of video-driven SaaS platforms. Hayk occasionally participates in startup advisory sessions and mentorship programs, sharing insights on system design, AI infrastructure, platform scalability, and technical leadership.
