Arevik Anapiosyan is the Partnerships and Development Finance Advisor at the United Nations in Armenia, where she works at the intersection of strategic partnerships, innovative financing, and complex socio-economic development initiatives. Her experience spans strategy, organizational transformation, design thinking, partnerships, and the development and scaling of initiatives across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Previously, Arevik served as Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia, leading international cooperation, strategic reforms, and major development initiatives. She has also held leadership roles in international organizations and academia and served for four years on the Governing Board of the UNESCO Institute for Statistics. Arevik holds a Doctor of Education in Global Education Leadership from the University of Southern California and an Executive MBA from Harvard Business School, with a focus on General Management. Originally trained as a political scientist, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective to leadership and problem-solving. She has co-founded several non-profit organizations and for-profit ventures, serves on the boards and advisory boards of non-profit and business organizations, and has curated, hosted, and performed at TEDx events. As a mentor, she is particularly interested in supporting founders on strategy, partnerships, organizational growth, business model thinking, leadership, and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
